Editorial Was ihr hier in den Händen haltet, ist ein Jahresrückblick des Radsport, den es in dieser Form, so glaube ich, noch nicht gegeben hat. Es sind Momente, die für mich unvergessen bleiben, für andere einfach nur Bilder sind. Es heißt: ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte, doch tausend Worte lassen auch ein Bild im Kopf entstehen. Diese Koexistenz zwischen Wort und Bild nutze ich, um mit meinen Arbeiten Menschen zu berühren und zu begeistern, weil Menschen Menschen brauchen, sonst funktioniert unser Leben nicht. Diese besonderen Momente, stellvertretend in Sport und Kultur, sie geben doch unserem Leben die besondere Würze. Die Leidenschaft und Träume für etwas zu brennen, treibt mich an, es in irgendeiner Form auszudrücken. Gemeinsam mit dem Velototal Verlag entstand die Idee „the art of cycling“, in der freilauf-Sonderedition, auf den Weg zu bringen. Fahrradkultur, die berührt und begeistert! Es ist die Würdigung und Wertschätzung der besonderen sportlichen Leistungen der Teams, der Athleten und der Menschen, egal welcher Couleur oder Herkunft, die im Hintergrund zum gemeinsamen Erfolg beitragen. Wir alle teilen die Freude rund um das Fahrrad. Bedanken möchte ich mich bei unseren Partnern, die uns, mit ihren speziell hierfür angefertigten Anzeigen, unterstützen.
